Organization

The Finnish Federation of Swedish-speaking hard of hearing people, founded in 1986, is an organization with nine member organizations, which are situated in southern Finland and along the coastline in western Finland.

The total amount of members in the member organizations are 3100 people. 40 000 Swedish-speaking Finns have problems with hearing and hard of hearing is a global issue concerning over 466 million people worldwide. We are working for an environment where people have equal listening abilities.
